"Complete Streets in Nashua: Introduction and Training"

Thursday, March 24th
8:00am - 10:00am
Nashua City Hall Auditorium

  • Learn about how Nashua is working to make the streets friendlier for walking and biking, with an introduction by Mayor Jim Donchess.
  • Find out more about local and statewide Complete Streets policies, with presentations by Tim Blagden of Bike-Walk Alliance NH and Ed Roberge of the City of Concord.
  • Discover how a new tool - the Complete Streets Guide - can help Nashua prioritize and implement street improvements that consider all modes of transportation.

The Plan4Health-Nashua initiative is a key strategy that is part of the city's Community Health Improvement Plan. With funding from the American Planning Association and the American Public Health Association, they have made some great strides in developing tools and information about Complete Streets policies and practices---all of which support safe and equitable access to active transportation.
