Cooking meals at home is a great way to save money, provide the most nutritious meals for your family and teach children responsibility in basic life skills. New Hampshire has several free or very low-cost nutrition and cooking programs that teach limited-resource families, seniors and children how to use food dollars wisely and get the most nutrition for your money.

UNH Cooperative Extension Nutrition Connections Program has a nutrition educator in each county who offers classes tailored to all ages.

Operation Frontline, a program of the New Hampshire Food Bank, offers cooking, nutrition and financial literacy classes taught by chefs and nutritionists.
